Manure/Mulch load coming

Hey all, Eric is loaning Bessie to us later this week - he wants the earth to dry a little before we drive the truck out on to the land incase it will just get stuck in the mud. Friday is good for me - I am happy to drive, get the load, shovel, whatever we need. Not sure if Lee Hill Peat is open on the weekends...I'll find out. Who wants to shovel some sh*t with me? :)

    Hey Gang, the auto watering is almost all set. What we need is to skip a watering cycle so we can tell where the dry spots may be. So can the monday crew please skip either the am or pm watering? Andy thanks for your help today, I'll let you know when to activate the auto feed. When do we get the manure etc? And Roxanne-- can you please post everyone's phone number, Thanks all, Daya

    A-OK on the watering, I will watch for activity on that front. I can tell you there the spots are pretty readily just from the past few days observation.

    I will find out about manure in the morning. Meanwhile we have some excellent compost ready for individual plantings.It is up at the house. We have a class this week so my attention is limited right now.

    One open task is to finish the edging that we worked on, digging in the east side without disturbing the peas and the short south side by just backfilling, and tucking in the weed mat on the west side.

    Manure/Compost delivery will be on Thursday by Andy Mead... I won't actually be there due to having an event running right now. --John C
